Worship With Us

We invite you to worship with us. We enjoy praising our Savior through a blend of traditional and contemporary music. You will hear the Word of God read and taught at every service. It is a time of fellowship, learning, praise, prayer, and thanksgiving. Our worship style is casual, just like our dress, and we hope to see you this Sunday!

Pastor Lee Cooper

We are happy to introduce and welcome Pastor Lee Cooper as our interim pastor. After the retirement of our pastor of 30 years, Pastor Shuford, God has called Pastor Cooper to Fairview Baptist to lead us through a time of transition and continued service to God, our community and the world.

Pastor Lee Cooper was born and raised in central Ohio (go Buckeyes) and entered the U.S. Navy in 1983 where he spent 10 years serving in the Norfolk, VA area. He met his wife, Donna, while in Norfolk and they married in 1986. Lee and Donna have three children, Tim, Lauren, and Miranda, and three grandchildren. The Cooper family moved to the Raleigh area in 1996 when Lee entered Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned an Associate of Divinity in the year 2000, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2004. Lee has served as pastor of several churches in NC and in VA and has been certified as a Transitional Interim Minster by the NC Baptist State Convention.

In his spare time Lee enjoys spending time cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, is an avid car racing fan, and loves “getting away” by riding his Harley.

We look forward to the direction God will take us under Pastor Cooper's leadership, Join us in welcoming him. We are excited about what the future holds!
